Troops 188B and 188G were able to procure two Philmont crews for 7-day treks in 2025. Specific dates include flying to Denver 6/12/2025, arriving at Philmont 6/13/2025, departing from Philmont, and flying back to Detroit 6/21/2025.
At the current time, they have four or five spots available to fill out our crews. Scoutmasters Chris Gumz and Belinda Taft agreed that we can open up these available crew slots to other local Troops. Intent is to give opportunities to Troops who might not otherwise have enough attendees to go to Philmont. This is an extra special opportunity because we can offer these slots to either boys or girls. One of our crews will be either all girl or mixed depending on how we are able to fill out the open crew slots.
