Come be a part of Winter Woodbadge at D -bar-A Scout Ranch

This outstanding leadership training course is open to anyone registered with the BSA and over the age of 18. It is considered by many to be the highlight of their
Scouting career. All Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Varsity Scout Leaders, as well as
district and council volunteers and professionals, are urged to attend. Along with perfect
weather and no mosquitoes, we promise a unique learning opportunity, high
performance leadership training, and a truly great Wood Badge Experience.

Weekend 1: February 5-7, 2021  (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Weekend 2 : February 27-28, 2021  (Saturday, Sunday)
Both weekends begin at 7:30 a.m. and end SUNDAY at 5:00 p.m.

All sessions must be attended.

Chippewa District Photo Contest Winner

The winner of the April School Closure Photo Contest Winner is Jamisen from P158. Congratulations Jamisen! Jamisen has won a FREE PASS to the Fall Camporee at Wolcott Mill Metropark, September 26.

Please note that the deadline to submit your favorite outdoor photo for the next photo contest is noon May 11. Please send your favorite photo to Dave Putt at dputt5@yahoo.com and include your name, scout unit and a brief description of what your photo is about.

The winning photo for May will be published in chippyblog and announced at the May 14th Roundtable.

12th Annual Boy Scout Memorabilia Show & Trade-O-Ree

Trading • Buying • Selling • Browsing • Showing • Learning

Friday – March 6th (4 pm to 11 pm) and Saturday – March 7th (8 am to 4 pm)
(Doors open for table vendors at 2 pm on Friday)

LOCATION: D-bar-A Scout Ranch in the Wyckoff Lodge Dining Hall
(880 E. Sutton Road – Metamora, Michigan 48455) See map of D-bar-A on back.

FREE Admission for EVERYONE – All Scouts in uniform will receive a free patch!

A mix of affordable food and beverages will be available on site for the entire event.

Like the Antique Road Show, there will be qualified Scout Memorabilia Experts to answer questions and appraise your memorabilia for free.

Collections & Scouting Heritage Merit Badge Counselors will be available. Scouts, don’t forget signed Blue Cards.

Overnight indoor accommodations at camp available to table vendors free of charge.

The Thomas D. Trainor Scout Museum will be open that weekend and a docent will be there to show around those interested in visiting.
