This event is open to all Michigan Crossroads Council Cub Scouts

Space is limited, so sign up early starting January 1, 2020

Limited to 30 Cub Scouts!

PLACE: Camp Agawam- 1301 Clarkston Rd., Lake Orion, MI 48362

COST: $45.00 PER SHOOTER (total league cost)

DATES: SUNDAYS

April 19 Range Safety, Skills instruction

April 26 Shoot for Score

May 3 Shoot for Score

May 10 Shoot for Score

May 17 Fun Shoot, certificates, Pizza Party

SHOOTING TIMES:

A) 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM B) 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

You will shoot at the same time each weekend.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

· Each Scout will shoot five ends of six arrows each shooting date. Bows and arrows supplied by the League will be used; personal bows (no compounds) and arrows must be approved.

· Scouts will be awarded upon successful achievement of a score goal and will progress to a new goal.

· Scouts will earn their Level 1 and Level 2 sports pins.

· Each Scout will have to complete a Safety Course on April 19, and must arrive 15 minutes prior to their shooting time for this shoot only.

· For the remaining shoot dates scouts must arrive 10 minutes prior to their shooting time.

· Parent/Guardian must be present while Scout is shooting.

· The last week is a pizza party. Scouts will all arrive at 11:00 that day, bringing with them a target of their own design. Parents are encouraged to bring a snack or dessert to share. If you are planning on more than one adult per Scout for the pizza party, an extra $3 may be requested to help pay for the extra food.

12th Annual Boy Scout Memorabilia Show & Trade-O-Ree

Friday – March 6th (4 pm to 11 pm) and Saturday – March 7th (8 am to 4 pm)
(Doors open for table vendors at 2 pm on Friday)

LOCATION: D-bar-A Scout Ranch in the Wyckoff Lodge Dining Hall

FREE Admission for EVERYONE – All Scouts in uniform will receive a free patch!

A mix of affordable food and beverages will be available on site for the entire event.

Like the Antique Road Show, there will be qualified Scout Memorabilia Experts to answer questions and appraise your memorabilia for free.

Collections & Scouting Heritage Merit Badge Counselors will be available. Scouts, don’t forget signed Blue Cards.

Overnight indoor accommodations at camp available to table vendors free of charge.

The Thomas D. Trainor Scout Museum will be open that weekend and a docent will be there to show around those interested in visiting.

Event is entirely outdoors, includes lunch (Hotdog, chips, cocoa, coffee, soup) and a patch for the Scouts.

Please dress appropriately for the weather- boots, hats, gloves, etc.  No jeans and No tennis shoes.

PLEASE BRING A CAN OF CHICKEN OR BEEF BROTH SOUP FOR EACH PARTICIPANT

2020 Pinewood Derby Council Race

All racing/inspection takes place on the same day

Come Race & Enjoy a Day at the Museum

Saturday, April 18, 2020

Due to the venue, NO walk-ins or late registrations will be allowed

Cost is $10 per racer: youth & adult (includes patch & pit pass)

Every attendee, youth & adult, racer & spectator will be required to purchase a ticket to the museum.  $10 per ticket (face value of $23)

If you are already a member of The Henry Ford you need not purchase ticket(s)

Special Note

Each attendee will have complete access to The Henry Ford Museum to enjoy during the day.

Who Qualifies

If you raced in your pack race, you qualify for the Council race.

Each rank is limited to 150 racers. Parent and Sibling Race is limited to 100 racers. All Scouts participating in a race rank must be currently registered members of The Boy Scouts of America..

Roundtables are a monthly gathering of Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, and District leaders. Roundtables are put on by your District Commissioner staff to give leaders hands-on experience and provide a forum for leaders to offer and receive help from their fellow Scouters.

The Costs: The cost will be $15.00 for each Cub Scout and each Sibling Attending if registered by May 3rd at 11:59pm. After May 3rd at 11:59pm the cost will be $20.00. Cub Scout fees include Lunch, a Patch, Rental Fees, Awards, and Program Supplies.

The Cost for each Parent in attendance is $10.00, this includes Lunch, a Patch, and Site Rental Fees. After May 3rd at 11:59pm the parent cost will be $15.00.

Lunch is provided for all participants.

Who Can Attend: All registered Cub Scouts and their families may attend.Weather Statement: The Spring Fun Day will be held in the rain and cold weather that can occur in the spring. Please dress accordingly.
